摘要: The aim of this study was to investigate lipofuscin origin in brown adipocytes hyper-insulinaemic rats and the possible role lipid peroxidation iron process. Ultrastructural examination revealed hyperinsulinaemia-induced enhancement production, accompanied by an increase mitochondrial damage adipocytes. Extensive fusions droplets mitochondria with lysosomes were also observed. Confocal microscopy showed auto-fluorescence emission adipose tissue (BAT) after excitation at 488 nm 633 nm, particularly insulin-treated groups. presence distribution product, 4-hydroxy-2-nonenal (4-HNE), assessed immunohistochemical revealing its higher content treatment insulin. quantified electron dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX) showing ultrastucture majority granules suggests their origin, which additionally confirmed co-localization ATP synthase. In conclusion, our results suggest that increased lipofuscinogenesis hyperinsulinaemic is a consequence peroxidation, accumulation
