摘要: A randomized double-blind placebo-controlled comparison of prophylactic cefoxitin, an antibiotic with good activity against anaerobic bacteria, cefazolin, agent effective predominantly aerobes, was undertaken in 354 women who underwent nonelective cesarean section (124 receiving 119 and 111 placebo). Among the placebo group, 24.3% developed genital tract-related infection, to 5.6% cefoxitin patients 6.7% cefazolin (P less than 0.001). Standard febrile morbidity, fever index, duration postoperative hospital stay were also significantly groups. For mean index group (24.8 degree-hours) that (42.7 degree-hours), this difference approached statistical significance 0.1, greater 0.05). Postoperative longer 1 week for infectious morbidity occurred 26% patients, a lower incidence compared 66% rate received 57%
