摘要: Abstract 1. Prostaglandins have been shown to modulate transmitter release from both central and peripheral neuroeffector junctions. In the present study, we examined effect of prostaglandins on [ 3 H]-dopamine isolated, superfused rabbit retina. 2. Both naturally occurring synthetic produced concentration-dependent reduction electrically evoked overflow without affecting basal tracer efflux. The rank order potencies agonists was: sulprostone > 16, 16-dimethyl PGE 2 >PGE 11-deoxy-PGE 1 >PGF α . 3. -mediated inhibition field stimulated was not blocked by selective EP -receptor antagonist, AH6809 (5–30 μM). 4. cyclooxygenase inhibitor, flurbiprofen (3 μM) had no or nor did it affect caused suggesting that endogenous are involved in regulation dopamine 5. submaximal concentrations , apomorphine melatonin were additive indicating presynaptic D - receptors coexist at sites for neurotransmitter may share a common mechanism release. 6. We conclude prostaglandin-induced retina be mediated specific prostaglandin subtype.
