摘要: Selected androgenic and nonandrogenic steroids enhance in vitro granulocytic erythroid colony formation by mouse marrow cells, but do so influencing either different target cells or states of cell cycle. Etiocholanolone, a naturally occurring testosterone metabolite, permits not active cycle to respond colony-stimulating factor erythropoietin. Fluoxymesterone, synthetic androgen, appears growth increasing the responsiveness tropic stimuli. The majority responding this androgen are DNA synthesis. Direct comparison, however, etiocholanolone-dependent colony-forming demonstrates nonidentity cells. Thus units classes physically separable. enhancement response regulating hormones such as etiocholanolane suggests mechanism which agents may be therapeutically effective certain cases failure man.
