摘要: We investigated the effects of various steroids on erythroid colony formation by normal human bone marrow and peripheral blood, blood from 18 patients with primary hypoproliferative anemia. These agents were variously found to enhance both CFU-E BFU-E derived growth cells. Fluoxymesterone dexamethasone most active inducers proliferation, etiocholanolone potent burst augmenters. Androsterone did not significantly influence proliferation in 66% cultures hematologically donors. Colony progenitor cells anemia was reduce (20 +/- 10 colonies/6 X 10(4) cells; 12 5 colonies/1 10(5) cells) when compared (65 14 21 9 cells). or eight steroid-responsive only moderately reduced (26 11 17 3 three steroid-unresponsive (3 1.5 Whereas addition same class enhanced 60-300%, their increased less than 60%. It appears that further investigations using vitro culture techniques as predictors response steroid therapy may be warranted.
