摘要: Purpose: Postdural puncture headache (PDPH) is an iatrogeniccomplication of neuraxial blockade. We systematically reviewed theliterature on parturients to determine the frequency, onset, andduration PDPH.Methods: Citations PDPH in obstetrical population wereidentified by computerized searches, citation review, and handsearches abstracts conference proceedings. wereincluded if they contained extractable data orduration PDPH. Using meta-analysis, we calculated pooled esti-mates frequency accidental dural for epiduralneedles estimates frequencies forepidural spinal needles. Results: Parturients have approximately a 1.5% [95% confidenceinterval (CI) 1.5%) risk withepidural insertion. Of these, half (52.1%; 95% CI,51.4% 52.8%) will result The fromspinal needles diminishes with small diameter, atraumatic needles, but still appreciable (Whitacre 27-gauge needle 1.7%; CI,1.6% 1.8%). occurs as early one day late asseven days after lasts 12 hr seven days. Conclusion: common complication parturientsundergoing
