摘要: Abstract A study of marine breezes and their impact on the wave field around Mallorca Island was carried out by numerical simulations with spectral model SWAN three different wind fields: WRF – Weather Research Forecasting model, HIRLAM High Resolution Limited Area ECMWF European Center for Medium-range Forecasts. The main characteristics modelled breeze circulation its effects are analyzed. modified under conditions correlations variability daily short life time period studied discussed analyzing balance. results show that accuracy a forecast will depend quality ability to simulate sea induced waves. covers summers 2009 2010. In addition, assess performance forced two winds numerically obtained significant heights (Hs) collocated against ENVISAT-ESA's Environmental Satellite measurements (GLOBWAVE data) Hs Island.
