Y2O3–BaO–SiO2–B2O3–Al2O3 glass sealant for solid oxide fuel cells

摘要: Abstract A glass based on Y 2 O 3 –BaO–SiO –B –Al (named YBA) has been investigated as sealant for planar solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs). The YBA systematically characterized by differential thermal analysis, dilatometer, scanning electron microscopy, impedance and open circuit voltage to examine their suitability sealant. coefficient of expansion is 11.64 × 10 −6  K −1 between 323 873 K. resistivity 9.1 × 10 4  Ω cm at 800 °C. found be well adhered with other cell components, such electrolytes stainless steels, an optimum sealing temperature All measured results showed that the appears a promising SOFCs.
