摘要: Abstract Considerable quantities of bioavailable nitrogen (N) are released in the production food and energy. The chemically bound formed this way amounts to 1.5 times naturally amount, leading, a number environmental problems. compounds involved mobile, reactive, can be transformed into one another. A given N-containing molecule can, fact, contribute successively different problems (through cascade effect). In order deal with all these reactive (N r ) policies explored for synergies integration. This is done by focusing on energy use. There already much policy related many N at various levels: Dutch, European, global. Some are, or need be, integrated other policies. An approach nitrogen-related will more effective geopolitical (i.e. national, European global) levels, therefore make efficient cost-effective policy. coordinated air quality, acidification climate change apparent. At moment there no forum as whole. importance closing N-cycle would merit place agenda scales. bring approaches dealing closer. Netherlands has high level associated also some useful experience addressing Dutch reviewed set context recent research developments global level.
