摘要: Abstract Aim The current study was designed to seroprevalence of anti-hepatitis C virus (anti-HCV) antibody in injecting drug users (IDUs) and non-injecting (non-IDUs) with or without other HCV-related risk behaviour. Materials methods Serum male inpatients the three groups a tertiary-care hospital north India screened for anti-HCV by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) two years. presence behaviours exposure (sharing needle drug-related paraphernalia, multiple sex partners, unprotected commercial workers/strangers, blood transfusion) assessed questionnaire. Results One-hundred IDUs (n = 103), non-IDUs (n = 124) (n = 245) were (mean age 31.2 (SD = 7.92), 32.6 (SD = 9.98) 36.9 (SD = 10.63) years, respectively). Almost 46% IDUs, 8.1% among 3.7% seropositive (p  Conclusion Seroprevalence is high compared non-IDUs, it primarily related
