摘要: The trypanosome LDL receptor has been isolated from bloodstream form and cultured insect-stage trypanosomes as a protein of Mr 145,000, using rapid purification procedure in the presence cocktail protease inhibitors, whereas previously polypeptide 86,000 was purified receptor. Both 145,000 polypeptides are glycosylated recognized by monospecific antibody raised against species. This inhibits binding to intact trypanosomes, Hence, is degradation product probably representing cleaved-off ectodomain
