摘要: Abstract Aryl hydrocarbon hydroxylase (AHH) activity was determined in castrate and intact male Syrian hamster kidney liver microsomes following vivo treatment with either diethylstilbestrol (DES) or 17β-estradiol as well other steroid hormones. After 1 month of estrogen treatment, there a 5-fold decline AHH castrated kidneys compared untreated levels. the amount depressed more than 75% levels even after had been withdrawn for 6 days. Consistent nearly 2.5-fold higher renal observed hamsters to castrates finding 1.7-fold elevation this enzyme animals androgen[5α-dihydrotestrosterone (5α-DHT)] month. Moreover, withdrawal from hamsters, increase essentially paralleled rise serum testosterone In animals, depression by partially reversed concomitant 5α-DHT treatment. However, no appreciable changes were seen androgen presence absence estrogen. Similarly, level activity, which 7- 14-fold levels, respectively, not altered Neither progesterone nor cortisone any effect on liver. Therefore, kidney, but liver, is responsive both estrogens androgenic hormone.
