摘要: Anabolic androgenic steroid (AAS) abuse has become a public health problem in many countries, and is associated with psychiatric disorders. Epidemiological studies have also found increasing numbers of sleep disorders reported by individuals using AASs. The purpose this study was to evaluate patterns anabolic users who practice resistance exercise. sample comprised 58 males divided into three groups: (1) 20 current AAS aged 26 ± 1.2, (2) 21 controls no history use, 1 (3) 17 sedentary men 27.2 0.34. volunteers spent night the laboratory for polysomnography. Comparing groups, user group showed reduced efficiency more wakings after onset than (P = 0.001). higher percentage stage 4 non-users group. We suggest that steroids alters architecture.
