摘要: In spite of usefulness synthetic polymers in every aspects life, the environmental hazards limit their use. Starch based biodegradable is one solutions to it. Packaging has a major share use polymers. For packaging application, it necessary have good surface and barrier properties material. Plasma modification materials promising solution enhance properties. present paper, cornstarch/poly(e-caprolactone) (CSPCL) films were treated air-plasma for different durations time. The effect treatment on biodegradation was studied. extent etching evaluated from weight change (%) study. Changes chemical composition analyzed using ATR-FTIR XPS. contact angle free energy (SFE) study indicate that leads hydrophilization CSPCL films. changes topography plasma processed AFM SEM. roughness caused by increase facilitates improvement adhesive like printability peel strength. studied water vapor oxygen transmission rate.
