摘要: Fibro-osteo-cemental lesions of the jaw bones are a heterogeneous group diseases which present problems in classification. Psammous desmo-osteoblastoma is one four newly proposed entities (Makek 1983) and has until now been characterized by its light microscopic, clinical radiological features. On electron microscopy this tumour exhibits fibroblastic (preosteoblastic), osteoblastic osteocytic cells globular mineralization unlike psammoma bodies. Immunohistological investigations with anti-osteonectin, bone specific protein linking mineral to collagen, showed positive intracellular staining all extracellular osteoid. The bodies were, however, not stained. These results confirm view osteogenic histogenesis psammous desmo-osteoblastoma, an differentiation cells, formation association origin. This combination findings supports that represents new distinct entity occurring desmal preformed cranio-facial should be incorporated revised WHO-classification.
