摘要: Abstract Vernonia galamensis is a new potential industrial oilseed crop with origin in East Africa. The seed oil has unique chemical and physical properties, that will permit its use the formulation of reactive diluents, products to serve as solvents become part dry paint surface do not evaporate pollute air. A collection 41 accessions was evaluated for leaf fatty acid composition. In seed, vernolic (C18:10) varied from 54 74%, linoleic (C18:2) 3 32%. linolenic (C18:3) 59%, palmitic (C16:0) 12 22% C18:4 8 17%. Correlation analysis between acids showed negatively correlated C16:0, C18:0, C18:2, C18:3. leaf, negative correlations C18:3 other were observed. C18:2 positive correlations, respectively leaves seed. general, there wide range composition specially which might indicate quality improvement V. .
