摘要: A sexual stage-specific protein of Plasmodium falciparum with a Mr 25,000 is one the target antigens transmission-blocking antibodies. The contributions tertiary structure and post-translational modifications (glycosylation acylation) to epitopes on this were subject detailed investigations. After modification three-dimensional or cleavage carbohydrate groups linked fatty acids, immunological reactivity was investigated by three different techniques: (i) immunoprecipitation radiolabelled proteins, (ii) enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), (iii) Western blotting. results experiments indicate that major 25 kD protein, including epitope involved in immunity, are dependent presence but not absence groups.
