摘要: Mesh use in surgical breast reconstruction is becoming increasingly common; however, there still no consensus on whether synthetic matrices or biological produce the best outcomes. This review analyses these outcomes, namely differences aesthetic cost, and rates of most commonly reported complications. The results indicate that with a matrix produces comparable outcomes to matrix, lower costs complication rates. individual for show matrixes are associated infection slightly capsular contracture, but higher haematoma rates, skin necrosis explantation—although many had post-op radiotherapy. majority studies evaluated used matrices, randomised controlled trials directly comparing two types meshes; definite conclusions cannot be drawn from available evidence. authors suggest trial needed.
