摘要: SUMMARY: Oceanographic conditions in spring and summer, caused by northerly-easterly winds of medium low intensity, the Bay Biscay seem to induce good levels recruitment anchovy population. This wind regime produces upwelling with, generally, degrees turbulence. Indices turbulence were built proved significantly correlated with an index annual (p<0.0001). Both physical parameters explain about 70% variance anchovy. The likely explanations for this relationship are outlined discussed light current hypotheses processes determining marine populations. Enhancement productivity increased availability food early life history stages be main consequence prevalence weak area during spring.
