摘要: Although previous studies have demonstrated that acute hypoglycemia inhibits growth hormone (GH) secretion due to stimulation of hypothalamic somatostatin (SS) neurones in the rat, effect on GH has not yet been elucidated mouse. In this study, effects insulin-induced mouse secretion, c-fos expression, GH-releasing (GRH) and SS mRNA levels were investigated conscious male mice. Seven days after implantation chronic atrial catheters, blood samples taken every 20 min from 1200-1600 h under unrestrained conditions. Insulin was administered iv 1200-1240 induce moderate (MH) severe (SH), respectively. Expression protein examined 30 60 induction by immunohistochemistry. Hypothalamic GRH 1 3 Northern blot analysis. The lowest mean plasma glucose insulin injections 49.1 +/- 4.1 mg/dl 34.2 5.6 mice, However, pulsatile significantly altered either group. both MH SH markedly stimulated expression specific nuclei including paraventricular nucleus, they did periventricular nucleus. Neither nor or levels. These results suggest does activate neurons which inhibit
