摘要: The nature, neural underpinnings, and etiology of deficits in verbal declarative memory patients with schizophrenia remain unclear. To examine the contributions genes environment to recall recognition performance this disorder, California Verbal Learning Test was administered a large population-based Finnish twin sample, which included schizophrenic schizoaffective patients, their non-ill monozygotic (MZ) dizygotic (DZ) co-twins, healthy control twins. Compared controls, co-twins showed relatively greater on free compared recognition. Intra-pair differences between hippocampal volume were highly positively correlated. These findings are consistent view that genetic influences associated reduced schizophrenia, but non-genetic further compromise these abnormalities who manifest full-blown phenotype, additional degree disease-related deficit mediated part by pathology.
