摘要: The effects that drugs given to a mother before delivery may have on the newborn are likely be dose related. It is therefore important understand principles governing placental transfer of and factors which affect received transplacentally by fetus. Consisting as it does syncytium membrane covered with continuous lipid layer, freely permeable soluble substances, but less so hydrophilic particles. Most cross placenta simple diffusion. There however many substances necessary for fetal growth, some waste products must excreted fetus across placenta, would not expected diffuse at rate sufficient maintain welfare. other mechanisms such facilitated diffusion (for dextrose) active transport amino acids) can these, in essence, similar those particles any plasma membrane.
