摘要: Although incidental pancreatic cystic neoplasms are being diagnosed with increasing frequency, little is known about the accurate prevalence of cysts in general population. The aims this study were to evaluate crude rate asymptomatic healthy adults, and calculate age- sex-adjusted nationwide rate.A total 21,745 individuals who underwent abdominal computed tomography (CT) as a health screening examination enrolled between 2003 2013 at Seoul National University Hospital Healthcare System Gangnam Center. Nationwide population data 2010 collected from Statistical Office, Korea.Incidental found 457 whose mean age was 58.7 years. types reviewed by 2 separate designated radiologists final diagnosis made follows: intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm: 376 (82%), serous 19 (4%), 7 (2%), indeterminate cysts: 55 (12%).
