摘要: The target of this paper is to measure the modifications that regular waves induce on geometrical features and dilution inclined negatively buoyant jets. In order achieve aim, we have carried out a set experiments in wavemaker-equipped flume, by measuring concentration fields via light-induced fluorescence, non-intrusive full-field image analysis technique. wave jet parameters were selected simulate case typical discharge brine, from desalination plant, into Mediterranean Sea, compare it reference case, i.e., same discharging stagnant water body. mean obtained, as well three main effects jets are bifurcation (i.e., separation two branches), rotation point maximum height oscillation impact around fixed position different stationary one, reduction size sea region interested discharge; last effect increases with period. As consequence, under high period amplitude, tends decrease.
