摘要: Abstract Telomeric association (tas) is a cytogenetic phenomenon in which chromosome ends fuse to form dicentric, multicentric, and ring chromosomes. We observed clonal tas six pediatric solid tumors of various types histological grades studied using short-term situ culture G-banding techniques. These included neurilemoma, an undifferentiated (embryonal) sarcoma the liver (UESL), two anoplastic astrocytomas (AA), one case glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), neuroblastoma (NB) kidney. Cytogenetic data from all demonstrated multiple numerical structural aberrations including tas. The appeared be secondary aberration these tumors, however, it was possible follow progression telomeric several cases. In but (UESL) loss segments occurred. Tas lip three showed subsequent 11 p (AA AB). addition, 4p seen with 22q. 10p, 21p, 22q were at least different tumors. fusions 22q, recurring lip, short arm here, suggests that some regions are subject nonrandom instability sometimes loss.
