摘要: To examine the contributions of different types aromatics, volume swell nitrile rubber O-rings was determined in aromatic-free synthetic JP-5 fuel and blended with selected aromatics. Additionally, partition coefficients between O-ring phases were measured for aromatic species. Volume using an situ optical dilatometry technique that provided temporal data, while direct thermal desorption GC−MS analysis swollen samples. For hydrocarbons studied, data indicate a correlation coefficient swell.
