摘要: BACKGROUND The citrus red mite, Panonychus citri (McGregor), is regarded as one of the most serious pests in many countries and has developed high resistance to pyrethroids a result intensive use these acaricides. RESULTS The para sodium channel gene P. (named PcNav), containing an entire coding region 6729 bp, was cloned this study. Three alternative splicing sites 12 potential RNA editing were identified PcNav. Thus, exons alt 1 3-v3 found be unique Comparison field fenpropathrin-resistant (WZ) susceptible (LS) strains point mutation F1538I IIIS6 channel, which known confer strong mites. Moreover, it also that PcNav mRNA present during all life stages, transcript seems more abundant larvae than other developmental stages. CONCLUSION These results suggest plays important role fenpropathrin This first study provides information for further research on mechanism pyrethroid resistance. © 2014 Society Chemical Industry
