摘要: Lichens were recorded on Quercus petraea trunks and twigs near ammonia recording stations in ‘continental’ Norfolk, ‘oceanic’ Devon order to test indicator values developed for epiphytic lichens areas of high atmospheric the Netherlands. Norfolk showed a similar correlation nitrophyte indices with concentration bark pH as those Holland, whereas there was no negative acidophyte indices. Results both sites suggest that respond more rapidly recent changes concentrations while may maintain relict lichen communities due either legacy previous acidification or ecological continuity. The results loss acidophytes is taking place prior establishment nitrophytes indicating importance establishing levels at which sensitive are risk.
