摘要: The Heat Shock Response (HSR) in the cytosol and Unfolded Protein (UPR) endoplasmic reticulum are major pathways of cellular proteostasis network. In Saccharomyces cerevisiae, HSR is regulated by transcription factor Hsf1, UPR Ire1 branch activates Hac1. Here we demonstrate systemic regulation through a direct link between HSR. Hsf1 activated its depends on intact UPR. This mediated Sir2, which not only essential for but also required activation Excess Sir2 augments can compensate impairment UPR-defective strains. upregulated but, turn, it attenuates this pathway, ensuring that functions transiently.
