Crystal growth of CdTe in a multi-zone vertical bridgman furnace with a PBN crucible

摘要: Single crystal CdTe growth in a multi-zone vertical Bridgman furnace is reported. The could produce any temperature profile between 26 and 0°C/cm on programmed time schedule. sticking mechanism of the grown ingot to quartz ampoule was studied using XPS. It found that TeO 2 formed source material caused adhesion. A treatment avoid adhesion has been found. Crystal pyrolytic boron nitride crucible also examined promising results for high quality were obtained.
