摘要: Oral mucositis is a frequent and devastating side effect of anticancer treatments. It impairs the patient's quality life also can be threatening because severe infections delayed or incomplete treatments may result. This problem has been largely overlooked underestimated in past. However, recently studies have performed to precisely identify epidemiology, cost, consequences, physiopathology, oral mucositis. Clinical guidelines published help daily management this complication. In addition, some innovative new drugs, including palifermin, developed prevent treat major cancer paper we summarize recent developments management.
