摘要: The deleterious and sometimes fatal outcomes of bacterial infectious diseases are the net result interactions between pathogen host, genetically tractable fruit fly, Drosophila melanogaster, has emerged as a valuable tool for modeling pathogen–host wide variety bacteria. These studies have revealed that there is remarkable conservation pathogenesis host defence mechanisms higher organisms Drosophila. This review presents an in-depth discussion immune response, killing model, use model to examine bacterial–host interactions. recent introduction into oral microbiology field discussed, specifically Porphyromonas gingivalis–host interactions, finally potential uses this powerful system further elucidate bacterial-host addressed.
