摘要: Lysozyme (LYZ) is an antibacterial enzyme which allows the digestion of bacteria present in tears and saliva. In true stomach ruminants LYZ breaks open foregut, are subsequently digested by typical mammalian digestive enzymes, allowing incorporation nutrients from bacteria. Southern analysis with a single exon cow lysozyme gene revealed that there about 10 genes (Irwin & Wilson 1989), while pig primates have (Swanson et al. 1991) camels two 1992). The higher number believed to be result duplication associated evolution foregut fermentation Recently, genomic organization family has been determined domestic cattle, and, using cocktail clones, cluster (LYZ/) was assigned chromosome (Chr) 5, band 23 fluorescence situ hybridization (FISH) (Gallagher 1993). our continued effort test genetic homology conserved banding regions between cattle river buffalo, extend buffalo physical map, we mapped LYZ/ FISH R-banding.
