Synthesis of Coumarin Appended 1,3-Oxazines as Potent Antimicrobial and Antioxidant Agents

摘要: A convenient protocol for the synthesis of coumarin appended 1,3-benzoxazine derivatives (4a – 4g) is described. Cyclisation hydrazones (3a 3g) using triphosgene in dichloromethane gave corresponding 1,3-oxazines a relatively good yield. The proposed structures newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by spectral methods and elemental analysis. Oxazine 4a 4g evaluated their vitro antimicrobial activity against various bacteria fungi. Compounds 4b 4d inhibited growth test microbes thus proving significant activity. In addition, antioxidant was compared to that standards, showing DPPH, NO, OH radical scavenging properties. 4f exhibited higher than standard drug.
