摘要: Abstract Energy utilization and lipid absorption were studied in chichens having the symptoms of pale bird syndrome (PBS). Chicks with PBS also ones that appeared “normal” taken from a commercial farm compared to control chicks raised at University Georgia (UGA). The utilized dietary energy absorbed lipids substantially less than normal birds farm. Differences alone did not account for discrepancy metabolizable between two groups, suggesting non-lipid components was affected. Both groups showed lesser ability utilize absorb UGA chicks, indicating may have been affected by disease.
