摘要: Abstract The hypothesis tested was that feed values of spring wheat crop residues could be improved by selection cultivar, N fertilizer application rate and residue component harvested. Nine cultivars were grown at two test sites in Saskatoon, each levels 0, 56, 224 kgN ha−1. Proportions leaf, stem, chaff grain obtained for level. Significant cultivar differences observed site plant yields. A significant increase the proportion leaf components a decrease as soil nitrogen increased. Crude protein contents varied significantly with both digestibility vitro also existed among cultivars. Increasing but not chaff. all considerably higher value than stem component. Chaff collection feeding purposes would provide much superior to straw if farm harvest systems ensured minimum included
