摘要: Active cellulose-based packaging materials were prepared by binding lysozyme to paper modified with anionic polyelectrolytes. Polyelectrolytes improve the capacity towards positively charged and play a protective role activity during paper-making process. The charge density of was increased incorporating carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) or polygalacturonic acid (PGA). presence either CMC PGA greatly amount bound lysozyme, stability its buffers non-ionic chaotropes which disrupt three dimensional structure in macromolecules (urea, 8 M). Binding papers sensitive detergents (sodium dodecyl sulphate, 1%) non-chaotrope salts (NaCl, 0.5M). These data provide information about nature interactions between protein various types paper, insights on how preserve lysozyme-loaded paper. polymers used for immobilization found affect only marginally structural functional properties antimicrobial protein, facilitate recovery features after heat treatment. Presence negative polyelectrolyte (and particular) improves thermal making it resistant inactivation, even under conditions drying processes without compromising paper's mechanical properties. measurements showed that paper-bound retains lytic therefore, antimicrobial) against cell walls Micrococcus lysodeikticus, target microrganism as standard bioassays.
