摘要: Tetracycline (TC) is a well-known broad spectrum antibiotic, which effective against many Gram positive and negative bacteria. Controlled release nanoparticle formulations of TC have been reported, could be beneficial for application in the treatment periodontitis dental bone infections. Furthermore, TC-controlled transcriptional regulation systems (Tet-on Tet-off) are useful controlling transgene expression vitro vivo biomedical research purposes; controlled here, as well. Mesoporous silica nanomaterials (MSNs) widely studied drug delivery applications; Mobile crystalline material 41 (MCM-41), type MSN, has mesoporous structure with pores forming channels hexagonal fashion. We prepared ± 4 406 55 nm MCM-41 nanoparticles loaded dug release; content TC-MCM-41 was 18.7% 17.7% w/w, respectively. Release from then measured phosphate-buffered saline (PBS), pH 7.2, at 37 °C over period 5 h. Most antibiotic released both this observation period; however, majority first hour. Efficacy shown to superior free Escherichia coli (E. coli) culture 24 h period, while blank had no effect.
