摘要: Administration of 17 beta-estradiol (E2) to immature female rats produces a 3-fold increase in 125I-epidermal growth factor (EGF) binding uterine membranes with no change the affinity membrane receptors for EGF. E2 treatment also increases EGF receptor visualized by sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis after labeling and EGF-stimulated autophosphorylation activity. In addition, administration stimulates EGF-dependent tyrosine kinase activity an assay system using exogenous angiotensin II as substrate. Following hormone treatment, levels between 6 12 h, remain elevated at 18 decline 24 36 h. This stimulation is specific, since non-estrogenic hormones progesterone, dexamethasone, dihydrotestosterone fail elevate levels. E2-stimulated are blocked cycloheximide actinomycin D, suggesting that observed effect represents de novo synthesis may be mediated transcriptional mechanism. These results demonstrate estrogen can regulate acutely vivo raise possibility events coupled this play role estrogen-stimulated growth.
