摘要: Abstract 2B1 is a monoclonal antibody against large proteoglycan isolated from human yolk sac tumor (M. Sobue et al. , Histochem. J., 21: 455–460, 1989). The antigen expressed in variety of embryonal tissues as well most if not all malignant tissues. However, the expression normal adult limited to some tissues, such smooth muscle layers aorta. We characterized conditioned medium fibrous histiocytoma and found that immunological biochemical properties are identical those chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan, PG-M/versican. Partial amino acid sequences peptides obtained core protein by V8 protease digestion subsequent SDS-PAGE were detected reported sequence PG-M/versican with complete identity. Furthermore, was distinctly reactive transfection cDNA for shortest form into mouse cells. results indicate PG-M protein, epitope may be one globular domains. It thus likely extracellular matrix components characteristic tumors.
