摘要: Background and Aim:  Gastric cancers present with distinctive carcinogenesis pathways that vary the mucin phenotypes. We attempted to elucidate relations between characteristics of phenotypes gastric cancer tumor invasiveness. Methods:  adenocarcinomas were resected surgically August 2005 April 2007 included in study. The subclassified into intestinal if more than 10% cells exhibited (MUC5AC and/or MUC6) (MUC2 or CD10) markers, respectively. Results:  123 (n = 31), (n = 43), mixed (n = 28) unclassified (n = 21). phenotype was related histological type (P < 0.001), Lauren's classification (P = 0.001) size (P = 0.014) adenocarcinoma, but not its location presence Helicobacter pylori infection. largest number lymph node metastases (P = 0.007), lymphatic invasions (P < 0.001) neural (P = 0.026), whereas lowest invasiveness. Conclusion:  reflects biological behavior cancer, exhibiting highest invasiveness, respectively.
