摘要: In traditional scanning electron microscopy/energy dispersive X-ray analysis of gunshot residue (GSR), one has to cope more and frequently with limitations this technique due the use lead-free ammunition or lacking heavy metals. New methods for organic components common propellant powder stabilizers were developed based on liquid chromatography coupled tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). A multiple reactions monitoring method was created screening akardite II, ethylcentralite, diphenylamine, methylcentralite, N-nitrosodiphenylamine, 2-nitrodiphenylamine, 4-nitrodiphenylamine, present in standards mixtures. Five out seven these target compounds can be selectively identified distinguished from two others a high accuracy. Samples hands shooter collected by swabbing underwent solid phase extraction prior analysis. Detection limits ranging 5 115 mug injected achieved. Results several firing trials show that LC-MS/MS is suitable detection samples following 9 mm Para ammunitions.
