摘要: The aim of the present study was to assess renal excretion red beet juice (RBJ) antioxidants in six healthy humans. After a single oral dose RBJ. pharmacokinetic parameters obtained from urine were compared those after ingestion water on an intra-individual basis. Urine collected intervals up 24 h post-intake. RBJ ingestion, betacyanins betanin and isobetanin excreted volunteers' (0.28% administered dose) unambiguously identified by HPLC-ESI-MS/MS. Compared water, consumption resulted significantly increased urinary total phenolics (51.1% phenolics) other antioxidant compounds (43.9% compounds) within h.
