摘要: This paper addresses the question of what meaning urban public space has in relation to process children’s socialisation. It builds on data from qualitative research into social-pedagogical three contrasting neighbourhoods city Ghent. In this research, neighbourhood was studied as a social and spatial context which particular socialising practices are constantly constructed reconstructed through everyday actions people, including children, hence influence socialisation processes children. The shows that different patterns strategies children learn deal with issues like diversity, otherness unpredictability ways, ranging excluding diversity lifeworld, enclosing oneself within one’s own group, learning confrontation diversity.
