摘要: Background Many studies have reported that androgenetic alopecia (AGA) might be a risk factor for cardiovascular disorders, and the association of AGA with dyslipidemia has been studied. However, results were controversial previous meta-analyses had several critical limitations. Objective We performed meta-analysis to clarify whether patients abnormal lipid profiles. Methods A literature search was using MEDLINE, EMBASE, The Cochrane Library, KOREA MED databases. Results We pooled 19 observational compare serum total cholesterol, triglyceride (TG), low-density lipoprotein (LDL) high-density (HDL) cholesterol levels between control groups. TG, LDL significantly higher in group than group, standardized mean differences 0.377 (95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.182–0.572, p<.001), 0.426 CI: 0.164–0.688, p = .001), 0.450 0.171–0.728, =.002), respectively. In addition, HDL level lower difference -0.248 -0.472 -0.023, .030). Conclusions AGA showed statistically significant profiles, this partly explain diseases. This article is protected by copyright.
