摘要: Abstract HIV drug resistance (DR) testing using Sanger sequencing (SS) is limited by the inability of method to identify low abundance variants. The application tagged pooled pyrosequencing (TPP) for DR surveillance described and results compared with SS. HIV+ serum specimens were genotyped both SS TPP. Surveillance mutations identified TPP consensus reads at multiple mixed base identification thresholds (MBITs). Drug patterns highly concordant between when MBIT was set 20%. detected in 7.1% subjects, 1.6% individuals harboring NRTI, 3.3% NNRTI 2.7% PI. Analyzing each subject confirmed that frequencies
