摘要: Extracellular polymeric substance (EPS) is a secreted during algal growth, which has been found to have numerous health-promoting effects. In the present study, A431 human epidermoid carcinoma cells were selected as target and cultivated in vitro an experimental model investigate anti-cancer effect of extracellular substances from Aphanizomenon flos-aquae (EPS-A) possible underlying mechanism. Apoptosis- cell cycle-associated molecules well mitochondrial membrane potential quantified using flow cytometry (FCM). FCM showed that EPS-A induced cycle arrest, led loss function increase necrotic late apoptotic cells. order evaluate apoptosis viability, acridine orange/ethidium bromide staining was used, morphological changes observed fluorescence microscopy typical characteristics observed.
