摘要: The role of the type I insulinlike growth factor (IGF) receptor in regulating Wilms' tumor (WT) was evaluated by examining effect antibody-mediated inhibition this on cell cultures and as heterotransplants athymic mice. An antibody to human IGF (alpha IR-3) inhibited 125I-IGF-1 binding prevented stimulation thymidine incorporation IGF-1 vitro. Intraperitoneal administration alpha IR-3 nude mice bearing WT for 4 weeks resulted partial regression established tumors. These data indicate importance action control vivo, suggest potential therapeutic application using antigrowth antibodies block action.
