Influence of dynamic boundary conditions on preform design for deformation uniformity in backward simulation

摘要: Abstract Backward simulation using the finite element method (FEM) is an important approach for preform design. Different preforms can be obtained by imposing different dynamic boundary conditions in backward simulation. In this paper, are controlled altering time of node separating from dies. And relative non-uniform deformation degree adopted to assess design uniformity. Preform designs forging process airfoil section blade were and influence on uniformity was investigated. The results followings: (1) shorting a constant proportion leads slight change degree, which has little effect uniformity; (2) decreasing nodes with large equivalent strain increasing small simultaneously lead decrease may benefit
