Leptin promotes human endometrial carcinoma cell proliferation by enhancing aromatase (P450arom) expression and estradiol formation

摘要: Abstract Objective Leptin, a multifunctional peptide hormone encoded by the obese (ob) gene, plays an important role in modulating lipid metabolism and energy equilibrium. Leptin reportedly acts as cell growth factor enhances proliferation of various tumors. We investigated effect leptin on aromatase (P450arom) expression estradiol (E2) formation model endometrial carcinoma. Study design established co-culture fibroblasts Ishikawa carcinoma line. P450arom mRNA protein were measured with RT-PCR immunoblotting, respectively, before after treatment. The cells was also detected radioimmunological method. Results increased co-cultures treated 100 ng/ml (P  Conclusions is component microenvironment stimulates via enhancing synthesis.
